Announcements...
The health trust board is
updating all of our members (primary members, spouses,
children, etc) to accurately reflect our current
membership. Unfortunately, there are times when a member or
dependent leaves the trust and they fail to remove their
name from the list of eligible benefactors. When a person
is no longer eligible for benefits from the trust and the
Trust has not been notified of that change, the Trust
continues to pay for their medical costs when they shouldn't
be doing so. Basically, we need to make sure the members
are not paying for someone else's medical bills when they
aren't eligible. It isn't fair to the rest of our members.
Another reason for this
request is that health costs are skyrocketing right now. No
one is dodging the bullet of high costs of medical care
anymore. Your health trust is trying to do everything they
can to keep health costs to a minimum. Please understand
they are not trying to inconvenience anyone, it's just the
opposite; they are trying to protect the members and their
families as well as the member’s health trust funds. Please
do not ignore the request to provide the
documentation (photocopies are fine).
Keep in mind that this process
is being done because some of our member’s are not keeping
the Trust informed of status changes.
