On July 29, 2011 the Alaska Supreme Court ruled in favor of PSEA, and upheld an arbitrator’s decision and a Superior Court decision to reinstate an Alaska State Trooper, terminated almost 6 years ago. PSEA’s General Counsel, Stephen Sorensen, argued the case in both the State Superior and Supreme Courts. Good work, Steve!! Our member is now entitled to reinstatement, and to be made whole for the almost six years of back pay and benefits. You can read the decision here.
