PSEA Donates $1,000 to the Fairbanks Rescue Mission

On May 16, 2024, APFO Chapter President Pete Hawbaker presented a $1,000 donation to the Fairbanks Rescue Mission. This contribution underscores the ongoing support that the Public Safety Employees Association (PSEA) provides to local communities.

The donation will help the Fairbanks Rescue Mission in its efforts to provide shelter, support, and services to homeless and disadvantaged individuals in the Fairbanks area. PSEA remains committed to fostering community well-being and making a positive impact through such generous acts.

The Fairbanks Rescue Mission is a vital Christian service organization in the Fairbanks community. It operates the only overnight emergency shelter for men, women, and children in Interior Alaska. The Mission offers 120 beds for men and 80 beds for women, and also accommodates families.

The Fairbanks Rescue Mission aims to help homeless and disadvantaged individuals become self-sufficient and independent by providing stability in their lives.
